Jessica has worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist in an institute of higher learning and has more than 15 years of clinical/organisational experience. Jessica won the Gold Award in the “Excellence in Teaching” Convention organised by an Institute of Higher Learning. She achieved the distinction of becoming the first certified Transactional Analyst in Singapore and is currently the Advisor of the Transactional Analysis Association in Singapore.
Since 2000, Cheryl has offered psycho-educational, emotional competency, leadership, team building, creativity workshops and trainings that meet the needs of corporate organisations, educational settings and social service settings. Some of her clients have included, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Action Group of Elders, Nanyang Girls School, Hwa Chong Secondary School and Family Service Centers.
Dr Si Arn Aaron Leong is an Academic Endocrinologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School. He is skilled in Clinical Research, Epidemiology, and Genetics, with a Medical Degree (MD) and Master of Science in Epidemiology from McGill University. His specialty is in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and his interest is in the application of complex trait genetics to precision medicine and public health. Aaron’s research focuses on translating genetic discoveries of type 2 diabetes and related traits, to improve patient care and health outcomes. He uses multi-ethnic cohorts and biorepositories-linked with electronic health data to test genetic predictions for drug responses, disease progression, and comorbidities.
Kong Seet Mui holds a Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling (Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) 2006. She also obtained her ACTA in 2007. Seet Mui is currently an SAC registered counselor and clinical supervisor and has been in practice for several years. She has extensive years of experience in Singapore Airlines holding various managerial positions in HR and L&D. Her last posting in SIA was Senior Manager Cabin Crew Training.
Charlene Teo is an analytical, meticulous and conscientious Psychotherapist, Coach and Adult Educator with practical and creative approaches. She perseveres to achieve excellent results through her versatility and openness to explore new dimensions. She displays ability to reach out to her clients, and empowering them through coaching and mentoring. She digests details, grasp understanding of situations quickly. Excellent problem management skills, and the ability to identify root cause of problems through a meta perspective of acknowledging the connection between experiences and their ideas. This is cultivates the development of effectiveness in constructivism.
Charlene had worked with youths from various schools on the Enhanced Step-Up Programme. In her private practice, she had worked with children as young as 5 years old to adolescents, older adults, couples and families. Some of the issues handled include Specific Learning Disabilities, ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Eating Disorders, Parent-Child Relationships, Couple Relationships (including LGBT) and Managing Stress Effectively. She also works with clients seeking to achieve Peak Performance for major events, e.g. competitions, examinations and performances.
Proven ability in providing a Specialised Service with Quality through the practice of Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Babara has been a customer service practitioner and also held different corporate portfolios in different industries for the last 34 years.
Her personal life experiences and desire to help others spurred Babara to become a trained counsellor in 2010 and obtain accreditation as an Associate Mediator by the Singapore Mediation Centre in 2011.
Babara holds a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration as well as a Masters in Social Science (Professional Counselling). She also obtained her certification as an ACTA Adult Educator in 2019.
Dorothy Low has 28 years of experience in HSBC, holding managerial positions in the Consumer Banking, Operations Departments of the Bank. She holds a Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling and is a SAC (Singapore Association of Counselling) Registered Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. She has successfully completed the Advanced Certification in Training & Assessment (ACTA). Dorothy Low is a practicing psychotherapist, working with diverse client population. She also supervises counsellor interns pursuing studies with Swinburne University of Technology, Monash University and UniSim. Dorothy Low is involved in competency-based training for schools and multinational companies.
The Chairman of ECTA, Prof Tan Chue Tin is a Senior Consultant psychiatrist who has his own private practice in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. In addition to his MBBS from the National University of Singapore, he also has a Diploma in Psychological Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of England. He also passed and was elected as Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London as well as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He is also a Fellow with the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and a member of the American Psychiatrists’ Association.
Dr Augustine Tan is a psychotherapist in private practice and runs Journeys – The Next Step. He has worked extensively with the school system in Singapore and provided counseling and consultancy services to schools and polytechnics. Currently he continues to provide counseling services at a tertiary institution.
Dr. Daphne Tan is a medical doctor who received her medical training at University College London(UCL) and a Masters of Social Science (Professional Counselling) intern with Swinburne University of Technology. She has previously worked at Jurong General Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. She has worked closely with adult and child psychiatrists, and on medical and mental health projects, audits and research.
Tony is a qualified psychologist, registered with the Australian Psychologist’s Registration Board and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. He is also a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with 32 years experience working in clinical and organizational areas. He has worked in private practice his whole career but also has had regular contract work with many organizations.
